Options include a choice of 5’1″ (90 Litre), 5’2″ (95 Litre), 5’4” (105 Litre), 5’8″ (110 Litre), 5’11″ (135 Litre) or 6’4” (145 Litre), Axis Froth Foil board and a choice of an an Axis SES 940 or SES 1040 Foil Set. The package includes a board leg leash for the board and all these products are this years current models. What Axis say about the Froth Carbon Wing Foil board.

The newest FoilBoard in the Axis range, the Froth retains its personality however, Axis have made some important design changes. First off, they’ve eliminated the angled cut-away on the tail. This increases the length of the planing surface to increase subfoiling speed potential. Axis have also reduced the rail bevel which now fades out completely at the tail of the board adding more width to the planing surface and straightening the water flow for even faster acceleration up to foiling speed. Also noticeable is the pulled in nose with rounded outline, to reduce the chances of catching the nose of the board in rougher water when compared to the more squared off nose from 2021. Axis have also increased the thickness and volume too to maintain a balance in buoyancy that will give you stability when you are still on your knees or stepping up to get riding.

A new deck concave gives your feet and toes improved leverage when initiating turns, while feeling safe and secure in a straight line when riding without straps. The new and unique tail pad design ensures any water captured in the concave, flows freely over the back of the board.

How to size your AXIS froth board:

Unique to AXIS is the large range of sizes that will ensure you can achieve the volume that’s right for you. For WingFoilers starting out, we recommend around 20-40 litres more than your body weight in Kg’s.  Intermediate riders should drop down to roughly the same litres as their body weight or around 10 litres above, while advanced riders can go as small as they dare. The only limit on how small you go is your athleticism and the steadiness of the wind conditions. If it’s gusty, stay closer to your body weight in litres. SUPfoilers will naturally gravitate to the largest sizes in the range.

The all New SES (Super Easy Start) Package from AXIS. As the name suggests, the new SES complete package from Axis Foils is super easy to get started on, at an attractive price point. What’s in the box? Everything !

Retailers and consumers alike have for some time voiced interest in ‘ready to foil’ cost-effective introduction foil packages for an easy solution that removes the guesswork surrounding setup choice. These setups take away all the confusion! Simply chose the SES 1040 if you are 80kgs and over, or if you are under 80Kgs and will ride in areas where light winds or small surf prevail OR the SES 940 if you are under 80kgs, or if you are over 80 Kgs and will  ride in areas where medium/high winds or larger surf prevail.

The Axis SES range, while unique, is still fully modular and completely compatible with the rest of the Axis Foil range of products. This ensures a clear progression route as riders’ skills improve. Built around the Axis’ industry-leading 19mm Alloy mast system, the Axis Super Easy Start package features our latest 19mm base plate, an all-newly developed, moderate length, SES fuselage (725mm), which is perfect for beginner and intermediate foilers. This new fuselage integrates the Axis ‘doodad’ system into the fuselage, enhancing the famed AXIS system rigidity while reducing components and simplifying assembly.

Axis Super Easy Start wings are built using a proprietary new technique that features a Paulownia wood core and hybrid glass construction. These ship with custom-fit protective covers.

Drawing on the proven performance and easy turning of the Axis BSC range, the SES has a slightly reduced aspect ratio for an even easier and smoother lift. The SES wings have rounded tips for safety and ease of use.

Choosing the perfect foil is also Super Easy. The Axis SES package comes in 2 sizes:

SES 1040 –  Best suited to riders 80kg and over, or lighter riders in areas where light winds or small surf prevail.

SES 940 –  Best suited to riders less than 80kg, or heavier riders in areas where medium/high winds or larger surf prevail.

Both systems employ the new Axis SES 450/80 rear stabiliser wing, designed specifically for stability, control and easy turning.
