AK Phazer V3 SurfFoil, KiteFoil, PumpFoil, WingFoil Board
Last few left in 25 Litre and 140 Litre.
The new ultra-versatile AK Phazer V3 Foil Board is the perfect companion for foiling at every level.
New for the V3 range are some subtle shaping changes and the dimensions of the 5′ 4″, 5′ 6″ and 5′ 10″ boards now being a little narrower. See the SizesTab.
Covering 8 sizes from 25 litres through to 140 litres, the smaller versions can also be used for PumpFoiling and KiteFoiling.
SIZES: 3’ 4″ (25 Litre), 4’6″ (36 Litre), 5’ 0″ (46 Litre), 5’ 3″ (65 Litre), 5’ 4″ (78 Litre), 5’ 6″ (90 Litre), 5‘ 10″ (110 Litre) and 6′ 2″ (140 Litre). (See Tech Info Tab)
DESIGN DETAILS: Ultra-versatile foilboard. Modular foil platform. SurfFoil, PumpFoil, WingFoil, or KiteFoil.
KEY FEATURES:
Concave Deck: The concave deck makes it feel much more stable and comfortable when paddling. This allows you to push your chest forward to generate speed when paddling into the waves, while keeping the board stable. It also makes you feel more connected to the foil with the advantage of the extra volume on the rails for stability.
Bottom Shape: The rounded V on the nose helps prevent the nose from sticking on touch downs, instead recovering without losing too much speed. The mid-section runs into a single concave for maximum paddle speed. Larger models have a longer release edge optimizing the early planing at lower speed.
Kick Tail: The bottom kick tail allows the rider to tilt the board upwards, assisting to force the nose to lift and release from the water. It also reduces the tail touching the water when pumping and turning.
Narrow Nose: Faster to paddle, easier to push the nose into waves, and less chance of catching the nose through turns. The widest part of the outline is quite far forward for easy paddling, while the curve in the outline keeps the flow for mid-turn touch downs.
Reflex Carbon Construction
Full biaxial carbon top deck.
Wood sandwich standing areas.
Heavy-duty foil connection.
The Reflex Carbon construction creates an extremely strong and stiff standing area, covering an ultra-lightweight fused EPS core. The foil connection features a heavy duty high-density load plate, which carries the load of the foil and connects it to the top deck for a direct connection between the foil and the rider.
Rocker Curve: The slight nose kick prevents the board from pearling with enough curve to recover touch downs. The flat tail rocker maximizes paddle speed to help you get into waves early. It also ensures the foil angle is always 90 degrees when flying, helping to trim and maintain a balanced ride.
Thick Profile: Packing a surprising amount of float in such a short length reduces the swing weight, keeping the board easy to pump and turn. The volume is optimised for stability and getting you into waves as easily as possible for the relative size.
