FREERIDE (LARGE)

These wider chord wings are the perfect choice for beginner wingers, windsurfers and SUP foilers. The design emphasis is on easy lift, stability and predictable turning. The 440/90, paired with the Axis BSC 1060 front wing, is a very popular choice for learning to wing foil.

FREERIDE (LARGE)

Size choices for the Freeride (Large) are: 400/90, 440/90, 500/90 and the 500/90 Anhedral.

400/90. The AXIS 400 Carbon Rear Wing is the carving specialist. Even looser than the 440 rear wing, it’s the most turny and performance oriented rear wing on our collection. A must have with the 750 and 680 front wings, but also works miracles with the bigger wings, making the ride more playful and high performing. 440/90. The AXIS 440 rear wing is the allround rear wing that does everything well. It feels looser than the 500mm rear wing, it’s playful and overall high performing. You can combine the 440 rear wing with either the Standard, Short or ULTRA Short Red Fuselages for quicker turning and looser feel. See the 440/90 Tech Specs Tab.

500/90. The AXIS Carbon 500 rear wing is the most stable of all the Axis rear wings and is ideal for entry level and “all round’ riders. The 500 will make your ride as stable as it gets. Suggested as an all round companion to the larger Axis front wings (920 & 1020).
