The BANDIT XVI kite is even more stable in the air no matter what the wind is doing. From freeride to kite foiling, Big Air or strapless, this kite can do it all and do it amazingly well. Its fantastic control and support allow you to ride at your highest level at any time, as it always translates gusts into forward pull.

In its 16th edition, the F-one R&D team worked intensively on making the entire profile amazingly sleek and implemented new design staggered seams on both the leading and the trailing edge.  By staggering the seams,  tension is eased which means the entire profile of the canopy is even when the kite is fully powered. F-one kept the fabric oriented towards tension as well.

The two vertical 52g panels have been changed from the previous version to one single panel and on kites that are 9m² and smaller F-one use a newly developed 66g polyester double ripstop panels. It is stronger and more resistant to stretching to offer a better control of the profile on smaller kite sizes flown in higher winds.

In the 10m² and above, F-one kept the lighter 52g polyester to maintain lightness, as well as keeping two layers of 52g canopy with staggered seams on the trailing edge.

This all leads to more aerodynamic efficiency. Overall, this perfectly even canopy profile brings a greater sense of stability and without feeling any air disturbance or needing to keep your bar moving which all leads to incredible performance in those higher winds we all like to kite in.

The strut reinforcements are now super sleek as well thanks to the use of Kevlar strips on top. This improves the kites steering and manoeuvrability, reduces aerodynamic disturbance and decreases the overall weight of the kite.

Our original 5 point connection bridles and two pulleys help keep the arc of the kite stable even in overpowered conditions.

The new, CNC-shaped, anodised aluminium low friction “pulleys” are super lightweight and help to increase the kites reactivity. They also raise the bridles resistance to abrasion and its overall durability.

Thanks to its legendary Delta C-Shape, the only “still-patented” kite design, the F-one Bandit XVI offers incomparable bar feeling, super relaunching and exceptional stability.

The impressive instant steering response offers precision flying with the best balance between ease of input and feedback from the kite which all results in a very linear feel with zero stalling.
