Light wind? No problem. The Trace has a progressive straight, square outline and large surface area for early planing and upwind performance in the lightest winds. Designed with a hybrid carbon construction, featuring a core of Paulownia wood reinforced with carbon tape-strips, providing higher torsional stiffness. A Centre-V Spine and longitudinal quad channels provide balanced torsional stiffness, superb traction and more control. The progressive medium-low rocker, outline and flex are balanced for unique flex characteristics, enhancing the feel while riding the kiteboard – maximum comfort, even in choppy water and is ideal for flatwater. It also enables phenomenal pop for lightwind tricks and transitions and surprising manoeuvrability for its size.

The rails of the North Trace 2025 are made of durable ABS to ensure impact resistance and maximum durability. On the base, a V-Spine is added for extra stiffness and to help break the water during hard landings. The Quad-Channels in the tips provide additional grip and allow you to maintain good edging even when the wind picks up.

The board features Norths new “FlipTech Mounting System”, with centreline inserts for added rail longevity.  What this really means is that the board has entered and inline inserts which allows you to mount your pads & straps centrally and use both edges consecutively as your heelside. This significantly increases the board’s lifespan, as the heelside often wears out much faster. If one edge is worn out, simply switch the pads 180 degrees, and you’ll have a shiny new heelside again.

The board comes with an ergonomic lightweight handle and durable, wear-resistant composite fins of 40 mm.
