The name Kujira is Japanese for whale.
The revolutionary tubercle design of these foils mimics the pectoral fin of the humpback whale which is known for its agility, power and hydrodynamic efficiency. This all results in superb hydrodynamics, lift, glide, stability and comfort during flight.

With a carbon composite construction and lightweight helium foam core, the Takuma Kujira Helium wings and stabilisers are the most cost-effective and user-friendly performance wings currently on the market.

The Kujira Helium’s medium size and medium aspect ratio fit the full range of riders from lightweight to heavyweight and is suited for everyone no matter your size or level.

The Kujira Helium comes in three options: 1200, 1500 and 1750.

The aluminium (Alloy) mast and Alloy base plate are mounted together with three standard M6 Torx bolts and the mast foot is mounted to the fuselage in a similar fashion. The front wing and fuselage are mounted together with a proprietary system and another three Torx bolts, removing any unwanted movement in this key area. Mounting the foil on the board is fast thanks to the open ended mounts on the baseplate which has a board saver ABS pad. It is extremely rigid, stiff and light compared to many other aluminium (Alloy) foil masts on the market. The overall design is pure, and the unique shape of the wings makes it a unique and eye catching foil.

The Kujira Helium foil sets come with a base plate shim called an ABS Board Saver Pad which allows for the foil to ride more nose down.

The Kujira Helium 1200 is a super manoeuvrable wing and has incredibly predictable lift and plenty of glide, perfect for fun carving and playing in the waves. You’ll be impressed with its top-end speed and the forgiveness experienced. For a large range of use, Wingfoiling with the 1200 is extremely addictive.
